On 12 July, our Design Director, Mark swapped his Mac for a parachute and jumped 13,000 feet, all in support of the London Legal Support Trust!
It was an early start on a gloriously sunny Saturday morning as Mark headed to Sibson Aerodrome in Cambridgeshire, fuelled by nerves and excitement. Despite a healthy fear of heights, he bravely strapped himself in for a tandem skydive, climbing to nearly two miles above ground before taking the plunge.
Freefalling at a heart-racing 120 mph, Mark described the experience as “utterly terrifying and completely exhilarating in equal measure.” Fortunately, the weather was on his side, with glorious blue skies offering stunning views as he drifted safely back to solid ground.
“I can’t say I’m in a hurry to do it again,” he admitted, “but I’m really proud I did it, and for an important cause.”
The London Legal Support Trust does fantastic work improving access to justice, and we’re all incredibly proud of Mark’s effort (and bravery). Hats off to him for stepping (or falling!) so far outside his comfort zone.
